Hundreds of Nigerian child soldiers freed

UN says nearly 900 children who were part of militia fighting Boko Haram have been freed

The United Nations says that nearly 900 children who were part of a militia helping to fight Islamist militant group Boko Haram in Nigeria have been freed. We get the latest developments from our reporter in Abuja.

Also we speak to our science correspondent about plans by scientists in Cambridge in the UK to set up a research centre to develop radical new ways to repair the Earth's climate.

And a new report says Kenya's government-run hospitals are failing. We hear from people across the county about their experiences of the healthcare system.
