Eyewitnesses in Sudan says that elements of the military have acted to protect protesters in the capital, Khartoum. That is reportedly after security forces fired tear gas to break up a mass sit-in. We speak to protesters in the capital.
Also, US Homeland Security Secretary Kirstjen Neilsen resigned on Sunday night. She had enforced some of President Donald Trump's controversial border policies. We get the latest from our correspondent in Washington.
