Brunei to punish gay sex with death

Brunei implements stoning to death under anti-gay and adultery laws

Brunei is introducing strict new laws that means anal sex and adultery are offences punishable by stoning to death. The new measures also cover a range of other crimes including punishment for theft by amputation.

Also, we hear the story of a 6-year-old girl from Yemen who had a tumour in her left eye that could have killed her. But thanks to donations her family took her to Jordan for life-saving treatment.

And in Nigeria we speak to the fiancée of Kolade Johnson who is suspected to have been hit by a stray bullet, fired by members of a unit of the Nigerian Police Force - the Special Anti-Robbery Squad - known as SARS. The police force is carrying out an internal investigation.
