Ceremonies are taking place in Germany to mark thirty years since the fall of the Berlin Wall. The wall epitomised the Cold War divide between the communist East and the democratic West. It's fall led to the reunification of Germany. Chancellor Angela Merkel attended a commemoration at a remaining section of the wall that's preserved as a memorial. We speak to our reporter in Berlin and hear from people who witnessed the fall of the wall.
Also, India's Supreme Court rules in favour of a Hindu claim to a bitterly disputed religious site in the northern town of Ayodhya. We hear from our BBC correspondent in India.
And, Bushfires continue to burn across eastern Australia. Thousands of people are affected. We hear from a resident in Queensland forced to leave her home.
