
Ukraine's Foreign Minister: 'Trump did not tell Zelensky to investigate Biden'
Vadym Prystaiko "There was no direct link, it was not directly said by President Trump".
Vadym Prystaiko was Ukraine's deputy foreign minister at the time of the July telephone call and was promoted to foreign minister a month afterwards. He tells Newshour President Donald Trump did not tell President Zelensky to investigate Joe Biden in exchange for the release of US military aid.
Also in the programme: The UN says that Turkey could be held responsible for the summary executions of Kurds in northern Syria; and the corruption trial of South Africa's former president, Jacob Zuma, has been postponed until next year.
