
British Government Publishes New Brexit Proposals

The plan, outlined in a seven-page document, would see Northern Ireland stay in the European single market for goods, but leave the customs union - resulting in new customs checks.
Also in the programme: Russia has expressed support for efforts by Ukraine's president to conclude a peace plan with pro-Moscow separatists in the east; and Hong Kong's police chief has said Tuesday was one of the territory's "most violent and chaotic days" as violent clashes between pro-democracy demonstrators and the police reached a new level.
