Political uproar as Prime Minister decides to suspend Parliament
Boris Johnson’s plan would restrict MPs’ ability to prevent a no-deal Brexit
Boris Johnson’s plan would restrict MPs’ ability to prevent a no-deal Brexit. He has denied it was an attempt to force Brexit through by the end of October. We hear reaction from across the political spectrum in the UK and from Brussels. We'll also be asking if this action is constitutional?
Also on the programme, Australia wants to curb the influence of foreign countries in universities, with China very much on the minds of the authorities. We also hear a report from the Amazon where the battle to quell the devasting rainforest fires continues.
