
Australian writer faces spying charges in China
Yang Hengjun has been formally arrested after months in detention.
Australia is concerned for the welfare of the academic and political commentator, Yang Hengjun, who has been formally arrested in China for espionage. Mr Yang has been held for more than seven months. Spying in China carries sentences ranging from three years to the death penalty. We hear from a friend and colleague of Mr Yang.
