France and Ireland say they will block a major trade deal with Latin American nations if the Brazilian government does not take more action against the fires. We’ll hear from our correspondent in the Brazilian Amazon as well as a former Brazilian environment minister, and ask how significant the trade deal is.
Also in the programme: violent clashes have taken place again in Kashmir between local people and police forces; and we hear from a zoologist working in Kenya, part of a team that has successfully harvested eggs from the ovaries of the world’s only two surviving Northern White Rhinos.
