Thirty years on, a student protest leader recalls the tanks rolling into Tiananmen Square – as the US calls for China to reveal how many died in the crackdown. Beijing has called the remarks “an affront to the Chinese people”. We’ll hear how the anniversary is being marked – or not – in Beijing.
