
Trade war: Trump raises tariffs on $200bn of Chinese goods
Punishing new US tariffs come into force on Chinese goods. Beijing says it will retaliate.
The United States has followed through with its threat to more than double tariffs on $200bn worth of imports from China. The Commerce Ministry in Beijing said it deeply regrets the US action and will take counter-measures.
