Venezuela's Guaidó accused of coup attempt by government

Guaidó, who is backed by dozens of countries like the US, is seeking to oust Maduro.

The Venezuelan opposition leader, Juan Guaido, has made another appeal for the army to back him, this time from outside a military base in the capital. It's his boldest attempt yet to force the president from office, but Nicolas Maduro says he has the support of the military.

Also in the programme: Emperor Akihito has thanked the Japanese people as he ends his thirty-year reign; and the IS leader, Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, has appeared in a video for the first time in five years.
