
DR Congo Court Upholds Presidential Election Win
Felix Tshisekedi confirmed president by the constitutional court.
The constitutional court in the Democratic Republic of Congo has officially declared the opposition candidate Felix Tshisekedi the winner of last month's presidential election. It has rejected an appeal by another opposition candidate, Martin Fayulu, who states that he is the actual winner.
Remaining in Africa we also hear about the surge in violence from Boko Haram in the run up to Nigeria's presidential election which is due to take place in four weeks time. And we'll also be reporting from an area of Yemen so remote that it has received no aid whatsoever, as the civil war rages on.
