Australia Recognises West Jerusalem As The Capital Of Israel
The Australian embassy will remain in Tel Aviv until a peace settlement is reached.
Just over a year ago President Trump announced that the United States was recognising Jerusalem as the capital of Israel. Now the Australian prime minister Scott Morrison, has announced that his country will recognise West Jerusalem as the capital of Israel. Australia's former ambassador to that country joins us. Also on the programme a former advisor to President Macron discusses the gilets jaunes, or "yellow vest" protests which have engulfed France. And we meet the comedian who refused to sign a "behavioural contract" which would prevent him from discussing subjects like religion in his performance at London University's School of Oriental and African Studies. Is comedy and freedom of speech under threat on campus?
