Pompeo: North Korean Sanctions Will Remain Until Nuclear Programme Is Abandoned

North Korea has said it might abandon plans to give up its nuclear technology if the United States continues to demand unilateral denuclearisation

US Secretary of State Mike Pompeo has hit back at North Korean accusations of "gangster-like" behaviour. Pyongyang has warned that the future of the peace process could be jeopardised by overbearing US demands. But Mr Pompeo stressed that there will be no end to sanctions on North Korea until it has got rid of its nuclear weapons.

Also on the programme: legendary Australian comedian Barry Humphries tells us how refugees in the 1930s inspired his latest cabaret show. And we hear the latest on an operation to rescue twelve boys and their football coach from flooded caves in Thailand where they've been trapped for the past two weeks.
