Colombians Head to the Polls

Colombians vote in the first round of presidential elections

Colombians are voting the first round of a presidential election today. A new head of state is guaranteed, as President Juan Manuel Santos is not standing for re-election. The election is partly being seen as a judgement on the peace deal he agreed with Farc rebels in 2016.

Also in the programme: Goodbye to Caversham, the BBC’s based for monitoring the airwaves of the world; and moon astronaut Alan Bean, remembered by his best friend, a fellow member of the Apollo programme.
