Algerians protest for fifth consecutive Friday

Hundreds of thousands of people are back on the streets of Algerian cities on the fifth consecutive Friday.

In Algeria the protests are continuing today with hundreds of thousands protesting in cities across the country to demand the immediate resignation of President Abdelaziz Bouteflika. A local journalist has been sending us reports of the protests.

We bring a story of a man who got stranded in his car by the floods in Mozambique. He witnessed some of the destruction, but also saw some of the efforts to save lives in the aftermath of the storm.

And a Muslim woman who grew up in New Zealand talks about her experiences of Islamophobia in the country.
