The aftermath of Cyclone Idai

The UN says Cyclone Idai has triggered a "massive disaster" in southern Africa. Mozambique President Filipe Nyusi says more than 1,000 people may have been killed after the cyclone hit the country last week. The storm also caused widespread damage in eastern Zimbabwe and Malawi. We hear from a man in the coastal city of Beira in Mozambique - one of the worst hit areas - about how he and his family survived.

Also, we speak to report on the announcement that the President of Kazakhstan will resign. Nursultan Nazarbayev has led the country since independence from the Soviet Union.

And we find out why University law students in Punjab, India, are refusing to take their exams.
