Will the Brexit deadline be extended?

The UK Parliament votes on whether to extend article 50 and delay Brexit.

We're live from outside the Houses of Parliament in the centre of London where Members of Parliament are voting on delaying the UK's departure from the EU on 29th March.

They are voting on a motion calling for a three month delay to Brexit if MPs back Theresa May's deal - or a longer one if MPs do not support it by 20th March, the day before the next EU summit.

Any length of extension has to be agreed by the EU.
