Upset Over Netflix's 'Roma' Subtitles

"Roma" director condemns the subtitles in Castilian Spanish for his film.

Netflix's decision to subtitle the Mexican film "Roma" in Castilian Spanish - that is, Spanish as it is spoken in Europe - has become a big talking point among Spanish speakers around the globe. Netflix have now chosen to drop the Castilian Spanish translation. We'll explain the controversy.
