Romney Launches Scathing Attack on Trump

Writing in the Washington Post, the former Republican US presidential candidate and incoming senator for Utah, Mitt Romney, has said that Donald Trump has caused dismay around the world. We hear from our reporter in Washington, as many are debating the timing of Mr Romney's article. With just two days to go before he is sworn in, many are speculating that he is positioning himself as a challenger to Mr Trump securing the Republican presidential nomination.

Also we get the latest from India where 15 miners have been trapped in an illegal mine in the country's northeast Meghalaya state for 19 days.

And earlier this week Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina secured her third consecutive term with a landslide victory in Bangladesh's national election. Our reporter in Dhaka reports on the mood of the country and the challenges that Mrs Hasina faces.
