Rival fans directed 'monkey chants' at Napoli’s Senegalese player Kalidou Koulibaly
Racism in football in Italy is again in the headlines. This time after rival fans directed “monkey chants” at Napoli’s Senegalese player Kalidou Koulibaly. Napoli’s manager said the referee repeatedly ignored his team’s request to stop the game. He says his team will stop playing next time. Koulibaly later tweeted: “I'm proud of the colour of my skin...”
