The Man Who Wants to Change His Age

A Dutchman in a legal battle to reduce his age to boost his employment and dating prospects.

We speak to Emile Ratelband, 69, who wants to shift his birthday from 1949 to 1969, comparing the change to identifying as being transgender. Mr Ratelband argues he feels discriminated against because of his age, and that it affects his employment chances and his success rate on dating apps.
Also today: We'll explain where we think we are with the inquiry into alleged Russian interference in the last US presidential election and get the latest on the shooting in California.
And, our listeners have sent WhatsApp messages reacting to the comments by an Indian cricket fan who said he preferred English and Australian batsmen to Indian players. India's cricket captain Virat Kohli responded by telling him to move to another country, which has prompted a huge online conversation.
