Missile Deal Tensions

Russia has said it will be forced to take measures to restore the balance of power if the US withdraws from a key nuclear missile treaty.

We follow the talks in Moscow between the US National Security Adviser John Bolton and the Russian officials after President Trump threatened to pull out of a Cold War treaty that restricts medium-range nuclear missiles. Russia has said it will be forced to take measures to restore the balance of power if the US goes ahead with the threat.
Also today: American journalist and novelist Michael Scott Moore, who was kidnapped by Somali pirates and spent 977 months in captivity, listened to Nuala McGovern on the BBC World Service Radio. Michael and Nuala were brought together for a chat.
And we reach out to people in the Nigerian state of Kaduna where sectarian violence sparked by a spat at a market had left 55 people dead. We want to hear how different ethnic and religious groups live together.
