Opposition candidate Ibrahim Mohamed Solih has defeated President Abdulla Yameen
Opposition candidate Ibrahim Mohamed Solih has won the Maldives' presidential election in a surprise defeat of President Abdulla Yameen. He took 134,616 votes to beat Mr Yameen, who received 96,132, provisional results showed. We hear from ordinary people in the country in the wake of the election.

And 17 years after a father from Texas in the US sold his beloved car - a Ford Mustang - to pay for his wife's cancer treatment, his children have tracked down the car and bought it back for him. The video of the reunion has gone viral. We speak to the man reunited with his car.
