Apology to 'Magdalena Laundries' Survivors

Hundreds of people have gathered in Dublin to welcome home survivors of the Magdalene Laundries.

Irish President Michael D Higgins has apologised to thousands of women forced to work in the country's Magdalene Laundries
- workshops for unmarried mothers.
Also: In California a judge, who was widely criticised for his handling of the Brock Turner sexual assault case, has been recalled from his post; and a man who's experienced locked in syndrome and now uses a voice synthesiser.
