
Guaido calls for mass protests ahead of his return to Venezuela
Opposition leader, Juan Guaido, to head anti-government marches on Monday and Tuesday on his return to Venezuela; he faces the prospect of arrest if he returns.
With reports that the number of Venezuelan soldiers leaving their posts and crossing the border into Colombia has increased, the man who has declared himself interim president of Venezuela, Juan Guaido, is going the other way, into Venezuela, hoping to lead further protests against the country's president, Nicholas Maduro. Mr Guaido has said he would lead anti-government marches throughout Venezuela on Monday and Tuesday; he faces the prospect of arrest if he returns.
