US Expected to Leave Cold War Arms Treaty

US officials are expected to confirm they are suspending participation in a nuclear weapons treaty with Russia that has been a centrepiece of European security since the Cold War. The Intermediate range Nuclear Forces Treaty (INF) was signed with Russia in 1987.

Also in the programme: Germany bans brown coal; and 40 years on from the Iranian revolution.
