Russia Hosts Taliban in Peace Conference
It is almost 40 years since Soviet troops went to war in Afghanistan.
Russia is hosting Taliban officials at an international peace conference in Moscow. It is the first time the militants have joined an event of this sort, which involves a number of countries trying to work out mutually acceptable solutions to the continuing violent unrest in Afghanistan.
