Japan to Radically Change Immigration Policy

The Japanese cabinet has approved a draft bill that would allow hundreds of thousands of foreigners to apply to work in the country for an initial period of five years. Japan's rapidly aging population has created labour shortages in key sectors such as farming, agriculture and nursing.
