George Soros Warns of China Danger
The billionaire says president Xi Jinping is the 'most dangerous opponent' to open society.
The billionaire philanthropist George Soros has used his annual speech at the World Economic Forum in Davos to attack China. The BBC's Joe Miller provides analysis from Switzerland. And our regular commentator, environmental activist and author George Monbiot expresses scepticism about what the gathering can achieve. Also in the programme, security forces have clashed with demonstrators in Sudan's capital, Khartoum. Eric Reeves is a senior fellow at Harvard's Center for Health and Human Rights. Professor Paul Oyer of Stanford University tells us about economic principles he believes can be applied to the world of dating. And, we hear why German authorities are clamping down on musicians who are topping the charts by selling albums with unique souvenirs.
