
Civilians evacuated from last IS enclave in Syria
The US-backed Syrian Democratic Forces have evacuated people from Baghuz.
A convoy carried hundreds of men, women and children from Baghuz, near the Iraqi border. The Syrian Democratic Forces say it cannot confirm if any militants were among the passengers. We’ll be hearing from a reporter who’s just been to the frontline. Also in the programme: it’s been five years since the Russian annexation of Crimea and Ukraine’s President Petro Poroshenko has been addressing the United Nations calling for a UN peacekeeping mission, and three member of Britain’s Conservative Party quit over their party’s handling of Brexit.
