
Taliban Meets Afghan Politicians, but not Government, in Moscow
Former President Karzai met with the Taliban in Moscow but not current President Ghani.
Senior Afghan politicians, including former President Hamid Karzai, have met with Taliban representatives in Moscow, weeks after the insurgents and American diplomats announced progress towards an end to the long war.
