Nancy Pelosi elected House Speaker as Democrats aim to wield new powers

Veteran politician Nancy Pelosi was sworn in as Speaker as Democrats took control of the House of Representatives. The Democrats have vowed to pass bills designed to end the partial government shutdown. But will they also investigate President Trump?

Also in the programme: praise for China's mission to the far side of the moon; and the authorities in DR Congo are urged to be truthful about the results of last week's election.
