
Bangladesh Election: Electoral Commission Rejects Request For Re-Run
Governing Awami League wins election by a landslide amid allegations of ballot stuffing
Bangladesh’s Electoral Commission have rejected a request by opposition parties to re-run Sunday’s parliamentary elections. The governing Awami League, led by Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, picked up the vast majority of seats in parliament but there have been multiple allegations of ballot stuffing.
