US Government Shutdown Over Wall Row

A partial government shutdown has taken effect in the United States after Congress failed to agree on spending bills. President Trump has been at loggerheads with Democrats over his demand for five billion dollars for a wall along the Mexican border.

Also on the programme: Denmark plans to send some migrants to a remote island; and a number of people have been killed by bomb explosions in the Somali capital, Mogadishu.
