US Will Leave Nuclear Weapons Treaty With Russia
President Trump says Russia has "violated" the 1987 treaty on intermediate-range missiles.
President Trump announced that the United States will withdraw from the 1987 Intermediate-Range Nuclear Forces (INF) treaty, after claims Russia is in violation of the agreement. The announcement has sparked concern that the US, Russia and China may be preparing for a new nuclear arms race.
