Mexico votes for a new President, with the left-wing Andrés Manuel López Obrador in front.

Mexico votes for a new President, with the former left-wing mayor of Mexico City - Andrés Manuel López Obrador - thought to be far ahead of his rivals. AMLO, as he is known, has promised to take on what he calls the country's "power mafia" of corrupt elites.

Also in the programme: a French gangster escapes from prison in a helicopter, the second time he has absconded in custody; and German conservative allies continue discussions on Chancellor Merkel's migration compromise.
