Beijing vows to match US tariffs as President Trump announces new levy on Chinese goods

The US and China are squaring up for a fight over the price of importing each other's goods. American President Donald Trump has announced new tariffs on $50bn worth of Chinese goods and accused Beijing of intellectual copyright theft. China has retaliated by saying it will impose additional tariffs on 659 US categories of goods.
