German Chancellor Angela Merkel has called President Trump's actions following the G7 summit "sober and depressing". President Trump retracted his support for the summit's joint communique shortly after departing and called Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, who was hosting the summit, "dishonest and weak". Where does that leave relations between the US and Europe? We'll hear from a senior German politician.
