Armenian Opposition Leader Set To Become Prime Minister
The Armenian opposition leader Nikol Pashinyan is set to become prime minister after the ruling Republican Party indicated it would back him.
Nikol Pashinyan has suspended anti-government demonstrations that have brought much of Armenia to a standstill, after the ruling Republican Party indicated it would support his bid to become prime minister.
Also in the programme: The European Commission has set out proposals for the EU's first post-Brexit budget; and Cambridge Analytica, the political consultancy at the centre of a Facebook data-sharing scandal, has confirmed it will close down.
