The US has faced pressure to toughen its stance on Saudi Arabia
US President Donald Trump has called Saudi Arabia's response to the murder of journalist Jamal Khashoggi "the worst cover-up ever". He has also highlighted the kingdom's importance as a US ally.
The BBC has found evidence that China is torturing and mistreating Muslims in its re-education camps. The government is accused of locking up tens of thousands of Muslims in camps without trial, in its western region of Xinjiang.
One of the biggest foreign investors in Sierra Leone has indefinitely suspended operations in the country. Sierra Rutile mining company says its stopped work because of strike action.
