Cameroon: UN Advisor Demands Independent Investigation into 'Actrocities'

The Secretary-General's Special Adviser on the Prevention of Genocide, Adama Dieng, has called for an independent investigation into what he says are atrocities committed during violence between the government of Cameroon and separatist Anglophone militants.

Rescuers are entering a third day searching for survivors of the quake and tsunami which hit the Indonesian island of Sulawesi. The figure of 800 dead is expected to climb much higher.

And we look at the traditional West African form of boxing, Dambe, still practised in Hausa communities in Nigeria and Niger. Some think it could have global appeal - but there are major safety concerns.
