Nobel Peace Prize Winner Aung Sang Suu Kyi Criticised by UN

Speaking to the BBC, Zeid Ra'ad al Hussein said Ms Suu Kyi should at least have kept silent rather than make excuse fo rthe militar

The outgoing UN human rights chief has strongly criticised Myanmar's de-facto leader, Aung San Suu Kyi, saying she should have resigned over the military campaign against Rohingya Muslims.

The Chief Executive of Save the Children has warned that governments are failing to act because most of the victims are poor. In 2016, the disease killed an estimated 880 000 children, globally.

Six years on, a father who lost his 6-year-old son in the Sandy Hook school shooting is fighting a legal battle against talk-show host Alex Jones saying he's been behind stories claiming he's lying about his son dying in the shooting and says in fact that the shooting never happened.
