US Considers Raising Chinese Tariffs

President Trump is said to be considering a rise on certain goods to 25%.

The United States is looking at raising tariffs to 25% on $200 billion worth of trade between the US and China. The US already set 25% tariffs on $34 billion worth of Chinese goods back at the start of July.

Congolese opposition leader Jean-Pierre Bemba is expected to return to the Democratic Republic of Congo today. Recently cleared by the International Criminal Court, he has spent after more than a decade in exile and prison.

We investigate the problem of 'transshipping,' when fishing vessels stay out at sea for months at a time and transfer their catch to other ships so that they can illegally catch more than they're entitled to.
