South Africa's National Minimum Wage Bill

South Africans are divided over the bill which has been passed this week

Millions of South African workers are to earn roughly $278 a month, after the country's parliament has passed a bill on national minimum wage. But there has been mixed reaction to the bill. We hear from some people in Johannesburg.

Moscow and several international organisations have criticised Ukraine after it admitted staging the fake murder of a Russian journalist in Kiev.

And a court in Kenya has suspended sections of a controversial new law which had been contested by bloggers and rights groups who argued it would limit freedom of expression and freedom of the press.
