Diesel Emissions Scandal: Ex-VW Boss Charged in US
Former Volkswagen chief executive Martin Winterkorn has been charged by US prosecutors in Detroit over the diesel emissions scandal.
The former chief executive of Volkswagen, Martin Winterkorn, has been indicted in a US court in connection with the diesel emissions scandal; the families of victims killed by the Spanish separatist group ETA say the group's crimes should not go unpunished; and the White House has said there will be consequences if China continues to militarise the South China Sea.
