Nicaragua Scraps Social Security Cuts

Nicaragua's president has scrapped the changes to social security that have prompted violent protests across the country since Wednesday.

Zimbabwe nurses have announced plans to return to work. This follows strike which began last Monday crippled services in major government hospitals.
