Ethiopian leader Gets Rapturous Welcome in Oromo Town
The new prime minister visited the town of Ambo, the epicentre of Oromo protest
The new Ethiopian prime minister Dr Abiy Ahmed has received a huge welcome in the town of Ambo by his fellow Oromo people when he returned to them on Wednesday. The Oromo community feels it has been marginalised by the central government.
The White House has said all options remain on the table in response to a suspected Syrian chemical weapons attack, and President Trump has not yet made a final decision on military action.
