A court in Seoul is due to sentence South Korea's first woman president

A court in Seoul is due to sentence South Korea's first woman president, for her part in a huge corruption scandal which led to her removal from office. Park Geun-hye faces 18 charges including bribery, abuse of power and coercion.

President Zuma is due to appear in court to face corruption charges in connection with a multi-billion dollar arms deal. He's appearing at the Durban High Court, in the Kwazulu Natal heartland from where he gleans most support.

The Russian ambassador to the United Nations has used a meeting of the Security Council to accuse Britain of inventing a fake story that his country poisoned the former double agent, Sergei Skripal, and his daughter in the English city of Salisbury.
